The antimicrobial case for copper

Copper ions are toxic to bacteria at the cellular level. A copper surface can reduce bacterial counts by up to 99.9% within hours. On a tongue scraper, this means the bacteria you scraped off earlier are less likely to be alive on the scraper surface when you pick it up the next morning.

The Amano has slight flex in the arms, not as pronounced as Dr. Tung's but better than the rigid Mastermedi. Coating removal per pass is similar to Mastermedi. The copper edge grabs slightly better on dry coating compared to polished stainless.
